Traceability System
MITUTOYO has a traceability system for conformance with national/international standards, centered on accredited staffs who are measurement technologies experts. This is made possible through an in-house calibration organization, certified to the ISO/IEC 17025 international standard, with length standards directly related to the national standards (iodine stabilized He-Ne-laser) at the highest level.
Since national standards are mutually recognized by CIPM (Comité international des poids et mesures), and certified calibration organizations are mutually recognized by ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation), the establishment and maintenance of traceability for Mitutoyo products is achieved globally.
This traceability system ensures that all measuring instruments used by customers are traceable to national standards.

Certifications and Accreditations
Mitutoyo South Asia Pvt. Ltd. (MSA) has a calibration laboratory in New Delhi which is traceable to national NPL (India) and international standards such as NMIJ/JCSS in Japan, NIST/A2LA in USA and is NABL certified. The certification is according to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
MSA's service engineers are NABL certified and are able to issue calibration certificates with the NABL logo, indicating our excellence in the field of Metrology in South Asia. Our CMC (Calibration Measurement Capability) in dimensional measurement is recognized as the finest facility of its kind in South Asia.
